Q. What is AuraDrop?
AuraDrop is a sleep and relaxation app built around real rain and nature sounds. Most of our sounds were field-recorded by hand in some of the most remote places on Earth, paired with high-definition video and immersive binaural 3D audio so you can fall asleep, focus, or unwind to the real thing.
Q. What makes AuraDrop different from other rain apps?
Most of our nature sounds are recorded by hand in the wild not stock libraries, and never AI-generated. You can listen in binaural 3D, watch matching HD video, tune in to 6 live channels that run 24/7, and even keep playing offline. It’s the same sound our community has fallen asleep to on YouTube, now in an app you can take anywhere.

Q. Can I use AuraDrop for free?
Yes. With the free version you can listen to a selection of sounds (in stereo) from each category. Start a 7-day free trial to unlock everything 120+ sounds, 50 videos, 6 live channels, binaural 3D, and an ad-free experience.
Q. How much does it cost?
Monthly: $4.99
Yearly: $49.99 (about $4.16/month)

Q. How does the free trial work?
You get full access to every feature free for 7 days. When the trial ends, your chosen plan (monthly or yearly) renews automatically. You can cancel anytime during the trial cancel before it ends and you won’t be charged.
Q. How do I cancel my subscription?
You cancel through your store account, not inside the app:
iPhone/iPad: Settings → (your name) → Subscriptions → AuraDrop → Cancel Subscription
Android: Google Play app → Profile → Subscriptions → Manage → AuraDrop → pause payments or cancel the subscription here.
Q. Do I lose access right after I cancel?
No. You keep all premium features until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. You switch to the free version only once that billing period ends.
Q. Can I get a refund?
Payments already made are generally non-refundable. When you cancel, you simply won’t be charged again, and you keep premium access until your paid period ends.
All payments are processed through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google), so refund requests and final decisions are handled under each store’s policy:

Q. Does one subscription work on all my devices?
Sign in with the same account and one subscription works across your iPhone and iPad. (Apple TV is coming soon.) iOS and Android are billed separately through their respective store accounts.
Q. Do I need to sign in to use AuraDrop?
No — you can listen to free sounds as a guest without signing in. Signing in (it’s free) lets you save sounds to My Library, keep your subscription and favorites in sync across devices, and restore your purchases if you change phones. If you’ve subscribed, sign in with the same account to make sure your premium access carries over.
Features & How to Use
Q. How do I listen in binaural 3D?
Connect your headphones (or earphones) and the app automatically switches to 3D binaural mode for a deeper, more immersive sound. You can also listen in stereo without headphones.
You can choose automatic or manual switching in the Settings tab. In manual mode, tap the headphone button on the player screen to switch between binaural and stereo yourself.
Q. Does it work on a plane or with no internet?
Yes. Once you’ve played a sound, it’s cached and plays offline and it uses almost no data.
Q. How do I keep my favorite sounds for offline use?
Beyond automatic caching, you can save your favorites to My Library so they’re always available even somewhere with no signal at all. The files are small, so downloading around 20 of them takes hardly any space. It’s the best way to make sure the sounds you love are ready anytime, anywhere.
Q. Can it turn off automatically when I fall asleep?
Yes. Set the sleep timer and playback stops automatically at the time you choose.
Q. Can I mix several sounds together?
Yes. In the Relax category you can freely combine multiple sounds to create your own mix.
Q. What are the live channels?
Six channels that stream 24/7 in real time. They play the same sounds and video as our YouTube channel.
Q. Are there ads?
There are no ads with a paid subscription. Free users may see ads in a future update, but never during sound playback or while the sleep timer is running.
Content & Recordings
Q. Where were these sounds recorded?
Most of our nature sounds were field-recorded by hand in the jungles of Colombia, the Cerrado in Brazil, the forests of Yakushima in Japan, and more. A few sounds, such as train ambience, were not recorded by us. We never use AI-generated sounds.
Comfort & Wellbeing
Q. Is it safe to listen all night?
AuraDrop is designed for comfortable, long-form listening, with seamless loops and no sudden volume changes. Keep the volume at a gentle, comfortable level especially with headphones overnight. AuraDrop is not a medical device and does not treat any condition. If you have ongoing sleep difficulties or any health concerns, please consult a qualified professional.
